CVS Shopping 10/29/14

It was a quick stop today.  Just the best deals, except the cereal.  My store was out of cheerios and cocoa puffs, so I might try to stop another day before Saturday.  The great news is I scanned my card at the Magic Coupon Machine and I got a surprise $5 beauty club ecb!!!  If you haven't, be sure to ask the cashier to add the beauty club to your card when you check out- you will hit $50 more frequently than you ever thought possible now that you are a crazy couponer!

What did I buy:
$32 total before coupons
-$11.20 coupons
-$16.99 ecb from last weeks shop
$3.80 total amount paid
Earned $8.50 in ecb's for next week (plus I have some left over from last week!)

Fiber One Lemon Bars $2
-$.50 manu q
$1.50

$4- 2 skittles $2 each
-$1/2 manu q
Paid $3, earned $1 ecb.  Like paying $1 a bag.

$3.76- 2 snack size hershey bar bags
-$1.10/2 manu q
-$1/2 cvs q
$1.66 total, $.83 a bag!

$3.76- 2 snack size twizzlers
-$1.60/2 printable manu q
$2.16 for both, $1.08 each bag

$3.49 Band Aids (Frozen themed, how cool!)
Paid $3.49, earned $2.50 ecb

$14.99 Revlon Face Powder
-$2 manu q
-$4/$12 magic coupon machine make up q
Paid $8.99, earned $5 ecb wyb $15 Revlon.  Like paying $3.99

And that is a wrap folks.  I didn't do the Jergens lotion because my store's started at $7.79 and I did not get the Loreal coupons in the sunday paper I was planning for that deal, so I switched it up to Revlon.

My candy cabinet is over flowing.  Its about time for Halloween to pass so we can start stocking up on something else!

CVS 10/27-11/2/2014

So here are the things I will be sure to put on my CVS list this week (as always, I get my list from browsing the weekly sale list over at hip2save.com):

Jergens lotion 7.5oz-32oz, buy 2 get $5 ecb.  Use the $1.50/1 mq from the 10/5 ss.

Junior Mints, Jolly Ranchers, Skittles, Star Burst 2/$4 and earn $1 ecb.  Use the $1/2 mq on starburst and skittles from a few weeks ago or the $1.60/2 Jolly Ranchers printable manu q .  It will make it about $1 a bag or less.

General Mills Cereal buy 3/$7 and earn $1 ecb.  Not the best price ever on cereal, but if you buy 1 cheerio and use the $.50 mq from 9/28 ss, plus 1 Lucky Charm and use the $.50 printable coupon here, and 1 cocoa puffs and use the $.75 printable coupon here.  You will pay $5.25 and earn $1 ecb.  Plus if you are a saving star user there is a $.50 on the cheerios and lucky charms.  So that makes it $3.25 for all 3 boxes.  I'm sure there are other varieties too, but these are the only ones with a saving star.

Softsoap Body Wash 15-18 oz. $2.99 = $1 Ecb (limit 1)

Speedstick Gear Deodorant $3.99, earn $1ecb.  Use the $2/1 mq from the 10/26ss or the buy one get one free printable q here.  There is a limit of 1 on this deal, so if you buy one you will pay $.99 after earning ecb.  If you buy 2 with the b1g1 you will get 2 for $3.  Either way- but if you have any magic coupon machine q's on deodorant the b1g1 might be a better way to go!

Use the $2/1 Renu Product coupon found here
Pay $5.99

CVS actual shop 10/25

Some weeks I give up on making it to CVS.....and I've come to accept that as being fine.  But this week I decided to go ahead and run in.  And even though it's too late for you to duplicate these purchases (the new sale cycle starts at midnight...48 minutes), they are the ones I previewed earlier in the week.  So hopefully you were able to buy whatever struck your fancy this week too!

CVS Shopping 10/19-10/25

Here are my must do deals for this week at CVS.  You can decide if they are the right prices for your shopping.  Keep in mind there might be other things that you find to be a great deal too- the full shopping list is always over at hip2save.com.

CVS Easy Fiber or CVS Easy Fiber Liquid Coffee Creamer (I'm assuming this is in the refrigerated cases) is $9.99 and you earn $9.99 ecb.  FREE

Durex personal lubricant (yes I'm blushing) (but hey, still a good deal) $9.99.  Use a $5 manu q from the 10/19 ss and earn $4.99 ecb.  FREE
Yes I am still embarrassed.  I feel like a third grader.

Huggies Diapers spend $20 and earn $5 ecb.  Use the $3 manu q from the 10/19 ss or print a $3 q here when you share with friends.

Candy- yes more candy.  But this soon will be over and the Christmas candy sales are not need as good or as frequent so picking up a few extra bags of non-halloween marked invidual candies is a good item to stuff in a cabinet for later.
Reeses, Snickers, Kit Kat, Butterfinger, Twix- buy 5 for $15 and earn $5 ecb.
Use $1.50/3 manu q from the 10/19 ss or the $1/2 Mars printable plus the $1/2 CVS printable
You should end up getting all five bags for just $6.50 after coupons and extra care bucks.

Progresso Soup 2 for $3 (2/$3) and earn $1 ecb.  Use the $.50/2 manu q from the 10/19 ss.

Bounty & Charmin spend $30 get $10 ecb.  Buy 3 at $9.99 and even though you are shy of the $30 your ecb will still print.  Use the $1.50/3 manu q from the 10/12 rp.  I probably won't buy this at this time because I have lots of sparkle from the last sale.  But if I were running low I would certainly take advantage.

Physicians Formula spend $10 and earn $7 ecb.  Another chance for some inexpensive really nice make up.

Dove soap mens formula spend $15 and earn $5 ecb.  There were $2 manu q in the 9/28 rp.  Not sure of the final cost but should make for some super reasonable soap.

Conair Curls N Curls Curling Iron 5/8" $9.99 and earn $10 ecb   FREE

Free curling iron!

Still working on this weeks list but I want to get this our here as soon as possible!!!

This 5/8 inch curling iron is $9.99 and is generating a $10 extra care buck!!!  I read it on hip2save and just stopped and bought one to be sure and it worked!
Better yet, I paid with two $5 ecb's.  Paid $.70 tax and got the $10 ecb back!!!!

CVS shopping 10/15/14

Just got home from CVS.  There is a rhyme and reason to my madness.  But some weeks I can't remember what it is.  But among the chaos I decided to suck it up and do my shopping.  This is the stuff that great deals are made of.

Shop totals:
$71.40 before taxes.
-$35.70 in coupons
-$21 extra care bucks from last weeks purchases

-$2/$10 covergirl cosmetics magic coupon machine q
$10.58 paid.  Earned $5 extra care buck wyb $15 covergirl.  Like paying $5.58 for both.  Not the best deal I've ever seen, but I really wanted some new lip stuff.

This deal is just nuts.  I still can't believe it.
2/$5 Kit Kats
2/$5 Twizzlers

-$1 off 2 hersheys cvs printable q
(that's $8.20 in coupons!)
Paid $1.80 and earned $1 extra care buck.  $.80 for all 4 bags!!!!  This is the reason any time there is a request anywhere for donations of candy (like our church's upcoming harvest hoe down) I can always donate some, and several at that!

I really didn't think I was going to do this.  But then the starbucks $1 refresher printable coupon reset and I was allowed to print 4 more of them from our two computers.

$10.50- 7 cans at $1.50 each
-$7, 7 $1 printable manu q's
Paid $3.50, received $2 extra care buck.  Like paying $1.50 for all 7.  PLUS I earned $10.50 credit toward the spend $20 get $5 saving star promotion (read my previous post to learn about saving star).

This wasn't on my shopping list.  Ally has developed a congestion/cold/ear/drainage thing and so I decided I would do this while there.  These items were all buy $25 and get $7 ecb, plus buy 1 get 1 50% off.  It didn't play out like I thought it would, I assumed like products would deduct the 50%.  But whatever.

$7.79 Alka Seltzer Plus cold
$2.79 aleve 24 ct (50% off)
$8.79 Alka Seltzer Plus severe cold
$3.99 aleve 50 ct (50% off)
$1.99 alkaseltzer heart burn relief chews (needed to get to $25)
$25.35 total
-$4, 2 $2 manu q for alkaseltzer cold
-$4, 2 $2 manu q for aleve
-2.50 aleve magic coupon machine q
$14.85 total paid.  Received $7 extra care buck.  Like paying $7.85 for all.
PLUS- there is a saving star deal for certain aleve and alka seltzer and some of these will go toward that $5 rebate when you spend $25 on bayer products.  I really think all of this will apply to that but I'm not certain.

I can't believe I forgot to put this on the list!!!!

In addition to the list of great deals I posted about earlier, be sure to add cokes to your list if you are a soda pop house hold.  I typically try not to keep sodas around......but at this price I can't say no!

Cokes are on sale 3/$9.  Buy $15 get $5 extra care buck.

But here is the big deal.

They ring up for $5 each, totaling $15 when you buy 3.  Then the register deducts $6 for the sale price.  But the extra care buck still prints.

Pay $9, receive $5 ecb.  $4 for 3 12 packs of coke products.

Wowzers.
